The following is the latest Yardstick data we have been able to track down. As you can see, it is VERY old.
What is does though is give a basis for comparison. For example, the Sabre is shown as having a yardstick of 128 and the Australian Sailfish is shown as having a yardstick of 133. The Sabre yardstick has remained very stable (currently 127) so the Sailfish is going to be pretty close to what it was in 1979 as well.
If your local club or regatta are struggling to work out where you fit in a good starting point would be to suggest about 5 higher than the Sabre.
And If you have a copy of the VYC Yardstick that is newer than this one and still includes the Australian Sailfish, please get in touch and we will update this page with the later information.
